Spring returns to the mountains
In springtime, when the meadows gradually turn green again and the first buds begin to open, here at the Neuhaushof you can take full advantage of the opportunity to do something good for your health. Extended walks, for example through the Vallunga to Prà da Ri or up to the Juac hut, quickly allow you to shake off those spring cobwebs, recharge your batteries and gradually improve your stamina again. And while you are out and about, when you are able to catch sight of the blue gentian or alpine anemone gently emerging from beneath the small patches of remaining snow, your spirit will get an added boost that no one will ever be able to take away from you.
Energizing summer getaways in the mountains
Summer at the Neuhaushof is all about outdoor sporting activities such as hiking and mountaineering, walking and mountain biking. In other words, everything you could wish for. Either plan your next day’s activities on your own, or take advantage of one of the organized programs available through Val Gardena Active. The Neuhaushof is actually a member of Val Gardena Active, which means our guests can either take part for free, or for a small charge, in numerous guided hikes, wildlife watching expeditions, herb hikes, rock-climbing classes for beginners, and much more. Yet despite all of these physical activities, it is also important that you allow your mind and body time to regenerate, of course. After all, what could be more wonderful than stretching out on your balcony, the sun-terrace or in our garden, and pausing, relaxing and allowing your mind to wander, all the while taking in the unique beauty of the mountain world which surrounds you and listening to the gentle twitter of birds?

In autumn, the Neuhaushof is a sight to see, surrounded by golden yellow larch forests, with incredibly clear panoramic views of the South Tyrolean Dolomites, set against a deep blue sky. A perfect setting in which to enjoy the scents of fresh hay and our sincere brand of hospitality to the full, and perhaps to head out on unforgettable hikes or bike tours that will energize you for the colder winter months ahead.
Winter Magic in the Dolomites
Winter at the Neuhaushof in Wolkenstein is unique. In just a few minutes, the ski bus – which stops right outside our front door – will bring you straight to the famous pistes of the Dolomiti Superski area. Glorious slopes for beginners and experienced skiers, convenient lifts without any long waits, and runs that will leave you with memories lasting long after your holidays are done, are just some of the ingredients for a successful winter vacation. Add to that leisurely strolls through snow-covered winter countryside, snowshoe hikes along remote winter pathways, and relaxed cross-country skiing experiences in Vallunga, on Monte Pana or at the famous Alpe di Siusi.
